Not much to say about the Halal-being-served-at-Quick story lodged into the news cycle this morning, other than to note that the blogger at the end of LeMonde's story is correct when he argues that the real issue is over the presence of Muslim culture, and not "discrimination" (there are already a handful of Kosher Quicks in service). I would also point out that the US has long operated Halal-friendly chains, especially at KFC and Popeyes. McDonalds and Subway have also experimented with Halals in the past.
